Mardenkro’s ReduSystems products are global leaders when it comes to regulating greenhouse climate. For many years ReduSystems has been at the forefront of innovation. In 2004 ReduHeat won the Horti Fair Innovation Award.
In 2011 an international expert jury judged ReduFuse to be the most innovative product at the exhibition, so once again we went home with the Innovation Award. We can’t innovate just by ourselves. Together with worldwide leading research centres, universities and growers, we continuously develop new products and test them in practice. Only products with proven added value are included in the ReduSystems family.
Vegetable and ornamental crops can produce much more than they do at present if the climate conditions are always ideal.

Calculation model accurately predicts increased production with AntiReflect
In advance of practical trials, Wageningen UR has calculated the extent to which production increases under AntiReflect. The outcomes are very much in line with early practical results.

Practical tests confirm higher production under AntiReflect
The first growers to use the new AntiReflect coating are seeing higher production as more light is entering their greenhouses. AntiReflect is being launched commercially this year.

How does AntiReflect work?
AntiReflect reduces the difference in refractive index between air and glass; that is why the greenhouse receives more sunlight.
Incoming light in winter certainly can be improved
During the winter natural light is the limiting factor for growth and production: Every reason to look at optimising the light entering the greenhouse during the winter. Frank Kempkes of Wageningen UR Greenhouse Horticulture thinks it’s possible to improve it by 15-20%.
